BlindGrader

Terms of use

Last updated 2026-10-16

Draft, under legal review. These plain-language terms cover early access and will be replaced by a reviewed version.

Early access

BlindGrader is in early access. Features may change, and the service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.

Grades are drafts

BlindGrader produces suggested scores and feedback. You are responsible for reviewing every grade and for the final grade you assign. Don't rely on BlindGrader as the only basis for an academic decision.

Your responsibilities

  • Only upload student work you are permitted to process under your institution's policies, including its policies on AI tools and student records.
  • Review the anonymous previews before grading, since automatic redaction can miss identifying details.
  • Keep your AI provider API key secure. Usage and charges on your provider account are your responsibility.
  • Don't use BlindGrader to break the law, to interfere with the service, or to upload content you don't have the right to use.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, BlindGrader is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on its output.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product develops and will change the date at the top when we do. Questions go to support@blindgrader.com.
